Hailing from the picturesque Blue Mountains of Australia, I have always been deeply captivated by the endless beauty our world and I am driven by the desire to record my wonder and pay my respects to the creation around me through my art. 

To fully immerse myself in the experience, I predominantly work "En Plein Air". This approach allows me to be one with the landscape, to truly experience the interplay of light on the elements as I paint.  Working on location allows me to really learn and get a feeling for the place, the true mood, tone, colour, or subtle reflections, haze, and other nuances that are often lost when painting from photographs in a studio setting.

My artistic career began in the animation industry, where I spent over 25 years honing my skills as a background and story artist for renowned companies like Disney, DreamWorks and others.  These days I have now shifted my focus towards my Fine Art.  I consider art and painting to be a lifelong journey of discovery and learning and experimentation.

I primarily work with oils, but I also enjoy exploring other mediums such as watercolour, gouache, and graphite. Each medium offers its own unique challenges and rewards, adding to the richness of my artistic journey.
